Arequipa, Peru´s Second City and named the White City because of it’s beautiful white colonial buildings, enjoy this and the fabulous Colca Canyon on this magnificent 4 Day journey into the heart of Peru.

Day 1. Arrive into Arequipa where you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon we start a three hour sightseeing tour including the Santa Catalina Convent, the Plaza de Armes, the Jesuit Church of La Compana and its beautifully painted Chapel also the Church of San Francisco, the San Lazaro District, Selva Alegre and the typical district of Cayma and Yanahuara for a magnificent view of the Misti Volcano. Return to the Hotel .

Night Spent in Arequipa.

Day 2  Leave Arequipa 8:30 a.m. and travel to the town of Chivay. On the way we will stop to enjoy the flora and fauna of the area at the highest part of the journey, known as Patapampa (4800 m.s.n.m.), travelling time Arequipa Trip - Chivay: (3 600m.s.n.m.) 4 hours approx. In afternoon will visit the town of Coporaque, where we will take a walk of two hours to see the tombs of the pre-Incas and the archaeological ruins of the Incas.  Later we will enjoy a visit to the thermal baths of “the Limekiln” in Chivay  Night spent in Chivay   

Day 3.  Breakfast in Chivay 5:30 a.m.  – We started off by travelling to two hours to the viewpoint of Cruz del Condor where we will see the magnificent Condor in full flight. Also enjoy the beauty of the spectacular Colca Canyon which is said to be the deepest in the world. We will have plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the canyon. On the way back to Chivay stops will be made to see the beautiful landscapes and towns like Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma and Yanque.  In the afternoon we return to the City of Arequipa.
